People keep journals for all kinds of different reasons: to chronicle the events of their lives, to work through their deepest feelings, to write down things they are grateful for, to sort out their dreams and goals, and even for recording whatever ideas come into their heads, whether it be for a new song or invention, an exotic vacation, new homeschooling ideas, or even bold plans to save the world. A journal is a sacred space to say whatever you want without worrying about anyone else's reaction. It's for your eyes only!

Are you walking enough every day? If you are a full time student or have a sedentary job, there's a strong chance that you're not. One recommendation is to take 10,000 steps a day. Walking is a super-easy habit to start because: 1. It's free  2. It's a natural movement we all learn at a very young age 3. It doesn't require any special equipment (you can even walk barefoot!) 4. It can be done anywhere (if the weather is bad, you can go to a mall and walk inside) 5. It can be done at any time of the day 6. It's a great stress-reliever 7. It can be done alone or with family or friends Another benefit to walking is that if you walk in the middle of the day with some skin exposed, you can easily get your Vitamin D for the day.
